I meant to post this yesterday, but got too excited about the beanies.  I made this for a customer, and look at the date of the wedding.  No husband ever could forget their anniversary.  My friend Becky, a math teacher, has a weird obsession with numbers.  Some she loves, some she thinks are absolutely "ugly".  My birthday falls on an "ugly" day.  She used her math skills to convince her OB to schedule her c-section yesterday (a Saturday) so her baby could have one of the coolest birthdays ever.  They didn't want to find out if it was a girl or boy (read about my dilemma in this post) and surprise... baby Savannah was born on 6/7/08.   Congrats number girl!

Among Lucy's favorite activities, hair washing and rinsing is not very high on her list.  Not that it is very hard for little miss baldy.  One rinse, and she is good to go.  But bathtime can quickly turn from total happiness (I let them eat popsicles in the tub, I can't handle the mess anyplace else) to full blown "my mom has ruined my life" with one pour of a bucket.  This turtle must have some magical powers.  She spent over 15 minutes sticking her hair under him.  Now I just need to figure out how to install a huge concrete fountain in my tub.

Everyone in this house is sick.  It is way too hot outside and I am borderline grumpy.  I need a treat so I decided instead I will give one away.  I absolutely love to see the Bible through other people's eyes.  I could pass over a verse hundreds of times, but when somebody shares that same exact verse with me it completely ministers to my heart in a way I wasn't expecting.  I am looking for verses with the themes of Faith, Hope or Grace.  Type me your full favorite verse in the comments section and I will randomly pick a winner on Wednesday April 30th.  The special winner will get a sign sent to them that says the same word as their verse.  Get your Bibles out!  Get a treat!

I am a horrible person!  I am soooo late in getting two wedding presents out.  Crazy late.  Like the bride and groom are probably wondering what is the deal with us, late.  I ran out of zeroes a while ago and kind of forgot to finish the signs.  Mind you I have finished many many signs for Etsy with zeroes since then.  Both of them were just sitting forgotten in my garage, sad and lonely.  Wanting to go to a newlywed's new home.  So today I decided to get my act together and finish them.  They were drying in the backyard and I was feeling pretty good about myself.  I figured that if they have a year to get thank you notes out, I can be a few months late with a present right?  So while I was waiting for them to dry I ran out to the mailbox.  You would not even believe what was in there!  A beautiful card from one of the couples thanking us for "coming to the wedding"!!!!!!!!!  I just about died!  They have already sent out their cards, we haven't given them a present and they are thanking us for coming to the wedding!  So sorry N & C!  Your sign is on its way!
