  8. As soon as he started singing, I got a flashback to church youth camp with the OC Supertones being played overhead. Doesn't matter how old I get, their sound will always take me back! :)

  9. We are SOOOO excited in this house! My husband and I were "Skankin' to the beat... with the Supertones" in college. Now our 10 and 8 year old sons listen to them on their MP3 players, almost daily! Way to go Julie's hubby and oldest friends! ;)

  10. great song!
i hear the supertones and am immediately taken back to 2001 when noah was 3, and he and i would blast "halleluja" from the c.d. player (remember c.d. players), and together we'd sing into wooden spoons and silly dance around the living room. good times.

(Side note: I just found your blog today, via a search on Pinterest for "craft fair"- not sure why it linked to here, but whatever. I was reading along and noticed you're a believer- awesome! Then just now figured out that you're married to an OC Supertone! Way cool.)

  19. Ummm yaa it's totally rad, your husband is a supertone! Oh and it only took me like 2 years of reading your blog to figure that out, and it was because I was talking to my BFF about your blog a few weeks ago (yes, we were talking about your blog and how cute you are, and she was like, "you know her husband is a supertone?") Man, I knew he look familiar. The Supertones were my first concert, led me to Christian music, making good friends, staying a a right path with the Lord and ultimately meeting my husband. My husband and I still sing Supertones (every word) in the car on road trips. You can only imagine 2- 30 year olds, yeah...... Love your blog Joy, you are an inspiration regardless of who you are married to
