Janey Jae.

Our baby girl.

She is sunshine and happiness.
Silly and sweet.
Quirky and cuddly.

Loves her blanket, thumb, baby dolls, dressing fancy and her big sisters.

Everything about her is a mama's dream,
and this mama is trying to savor every minute over the next few weeks,
of her being the smallest member of the family.

Extra snuggles.
Sneaking in to watch her sleep.
Shedding tears.
Happy, happy, sad, sad tears.

Our little baby girl.
Is about to be a big sister.

I am not ready for this season to end...

  3. Ohhh, goodness. I so feel for you! I have been there with my girls. It is so shocking how humungous your "baby" looks when the new little one is born. :( You have a beautiful family!

  4. Those momma tears...I shed many of them also before my 2nd daughter was born. I wasnt ready for change. For more responsibility. But God was gracious and now we cant imagine our lives without our youngest(now 5). Feels like yesterday.
Your little one is so beautiful. And I love her fancy dressin:)

  6. I'm praying you enjoy each moment to the fullest...I was just thinking yesterday about how I regret not enjoying those times more rather than spending my time being busy about what was to come.

  7. She's so cute! She's going to be a great big sis. Part of me doesn't want another one because I don't want to move out of this stage with my first. That's probably too honest and more than you wanted to know. :)

  17. I remember that feeling so well! The night before my baby girl was born, I was so worried that my first born would think I somehow loved him less after we added baby #2. So - the night before my scheduled c-section, I wrote my soon-to-be-big-brother baby boy a letter telling him all the ways I love him so much and always will. I of course didn't give it to him, but sealed it and put it in my nightstand. So when he's a teenager and plays some kind of "You always loved her more!" card, I can whip that out as proof of how much much much I'll always love him. Revel in these precious moments! Your blessings will be doubling soon.

  21. That is always the hardest part for me, taking away that special baby title.

I am the baby of my family, so I feel especially attached to the title.
