If you don't read Life in Grace, I am so sad for you.  That is something that needs to change.  Immediately.
It is a little corner of ye olde interwebz, that is full of beauty, knowledge, peace, depth and GRACE.

By grace, Edie and her family barely escaped their smoke filled home, before it burned to the ground.

Their meaningful, thoughtful, memory filled, earthly goods... gone.

Yet through it all, she shows great hope, character, and the deep peace that can only come from Him.

On this, the day that she celebrates another year of life, I am thankful to have seen a glimpse of her heart through her writing, and how beautifully and genuinely she shares her life.

I made Edie's ridiculously delicious, Spicy Tomato Soup, in celebration.  It is warm and cozy, rich and beautiful, just like she is.  As I sit down to quietly  enjoy it, I am praying and hoping that her family's year is filled with a season of rebuilding, refreshing, comfort and strength.

  Those who sow in tears
will reap with songs of joy.

Psalm 126:5

  5. I had not read her blog. I read her story yesterday, and sbe has been heavy on my heart and in my prayers. I hate what she has gone through, but I know the Lord will use this suffering to deepen and love her and teach her about Himself. I love how she is clinging to Him...
