This song tears me up.

It was one of the ones at Cora's memorial service.
And now I can't get through it without crying.

I'd never fully paid attention to "You give and take away, still my heart will choose to say, Lord blessed be your name."

It is an incredibly eye opening song. Bless you!!

Love the Newsboys, Love this song. As soon as I saw the title of this post, I knew it had to be about this song. I clung to this song a few years ago. Thanks for sharing!

This song will always make me think of Jess, Joel and Cora. Love it. It was so nice to meet you this weekend, by the way. I'm sure it meant so much to their family that you came all this way.

Still keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get a happy "Janey baby!" :)

Isaiah 40:31 is one of my favorites... and our Pastor just mentioned in a sermon saying we still have to run, we still have to walk but we not grow weary or be faint! Blessed be The Name of the Lord! Love your blog!

Amazing song. The other one I can't get out of my head while thinking of the Macs is the one that says "It is well with my soul..."

The story behind that song is so incredible, sad, and inspiring.

I am so touched by your faith..by your heart for our Lord..by your heart for others in their time of incredible crisis..heartbreak..sorrow...and stillness..you long for the love of our LORD to blanket us all...and you...as we seek His comfort...so many do not know that HE is who they are seeking..I am so humbled be the knowing that I know Him already...and so humbled that you are among my sisters...faithful..silly..sweet...steadfast...STRONG!!
I come visit you EVERYDAY..
Joy's sign is still hanging from our mantel...it encourages me daily..
Blessings..
