Halley had free dress day at school today and I did what any normal (totally not normal) mom would do at 10:30 p.m. the night before.

Panic that she didn't have any bows to match her new pinnie!
The stores are closed!
I don't have the right ribbon!
Freaking out!
I am not normal.
I am super aware.

Did I happen to mention that she is totally over even wearing bows?
Too bad I'm not.
So I scrounged together some sort of matching ribbon and tried to stay awake and not burn myself with the hot glue gun, which has become an all to common injury lately.

The bows were fine... not amazing.  Just okay.
Then, in my half asleep haze it came to me.
They need huge buttons!
I have decided that everything is just a little bit better with giant fabric covered buttons.
I adore them.  Just a small scrap of fabric and instantly you have a circle of happiness.

This little coffee cozy (part of my birthday giveaway) was begging for a little something something.  Poof.  Big button = big improvement.  It is almost killing me to give it away.  I will just have to sit down and make myself another one.
