Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
 {Cammy. a.k.a Capulet)
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star cross'd lovers take their life.
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their death bury their parents strife.
{Mac.  a.k.a. Montague}
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their parents' rage,
Which, but their children's end, nought could remove,
Is now the two hours' traffic of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.
A bitter blood feud is taking place in my very own Verona.
Capulet vs. Montague.
Camera vs. Mac.
Star cross'd electronics.
Causing each other pain.  Violence. Crashing.  Endless rainbow wheel.
It's exhausting.  Tybalt and Mercutio need to CHILL OUT with the plague on both their houses!!!!

But until they strive to mend, or I take Mac Montague to Father Laurence at the Apple store, I am stuck with a memory card holding images hostage, and no recourse but taking new ones with but my phone.
It is although freeing up time to sit and watch my favorite two hours' traffic of stage.
Art + music + literature = genius.

  1. sounds like a tragedy. Do you connect your camera directly to your mac or use a card reader? I'm a fan of card readers. Do you have another card you could try? Memory cards are more affordable than ever, especially if you buy smaller like 8 Gb or so.

  4. My 8 year old son was just talking about Romeo and Juliet! He apparently downloaded an awful version on netflix...Romeo and Juliet were seals! LOL But, hey, he's learning literature, guess I can't complain too much.

  5. I feel your pain, in a way that I can not properly express. I just dropped my external hard drive which holds every photo that I have taken in the last year and a half on the floor. Gone, in an instant. My files are unaccessable, and my only prayer is finding a tech guy who can work some divine miracle and retrieve them from my mangled hard drive. I am heartbroken. So I do indeed feel your pain. In the worst way.

  13. I love it!

    Ok.... I"m sorry that you are having computer/camera relationship issues!

    However, I love the R&J you added in!

    I saw the pic of the camera and almost scrolled past your post. Then I read what Blogger puts on the Dashboard (the first 2-3 lines) and I couldn't help but come in!

    I am an English teacher and I just LOVE when people use literature outside of school! I can tell my students "See...one day you WILL use this!" :)
