Early birds are overrated.

You know the people.
The people who are done with their holiday shopping and crafting already.
Who laugh at those of us who are not.
Who enjoy free time come December.
I am not that girl.
Every year I try.
I make a plan, set goals, make promises.
THIS WILL BE THE YEAR!!!!
My shopping will be done before Thanksgiving.
My December will be peaceful.
We will sit nightly by the tree, sipping hot cocoa and singing Christmas Carols.
But life gets in the way.
It may never happen.
Or it just might.
That remains to be seen.
Sixty Five Days.
Are you ready?
But before I can even think Christmas, I am thinking about crazy craft fair season.
Right now my house smells like paint, sawdust and Mod Podge.
I have more signs than I can count, all just nearly finished.
I can't see my dining room table.
I have hardly slept all week.
That is what happens when you aren't an early bird.

But what if you want to be one?
Feel like coming to take some signs off of my hands?

Live in my hood?

Come visit my sawdusty self..
Check some things off of your list.

Thursday, October 21st
(Where I plan on spending every dollar I make at the 31 Bits booth.)

Saturday, November 6th
(Where you might as well make your checks out to Leslie and Shauna's Tibit, because that is where I am shopping.)

Friday and Saturday November 12th-13th
Del Mar, CA
(Way too many rad vendors to even begin to list...)

For now I have a date with a whole mess of paint.

  23. Sweetie-it's torture for an Idahoan to drool over your products but know that she'll never be able to go to a market/craft fair to buy your stuff. I would love to buy a sign and I seriously dream about your necklaces and messy flowers for my little girls. Good Luck at the shows, it you have any leftover I'm a taker!

  24. For realsies? Why didn't you tell me you had ALL those shows? Would've dropped by some CR (even in the rain. while driving. as a ghost.) Good luck tomorrow (today)!

  26. I love that "days until" sign!

  27. I'm doing the Mariner's boutique too! I feel your pain :) I'm so not ready, but then again I never really am and it always works out.

  30. I'd be glad to take some signs off your hands, but alas, I don't live in Cali-for-ni-a:(

Your creativity awes me. I wish I had 1/11111th of the creativity you do....

  31. You should do one of those posts with ideas of what to make. I am half finished with the shopping part, but not even started with the making part! I have no ideas! My old computer crashed and all the little project bookmarks I have kept for the last year are gone!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh.my.goodness! That's a ton of signs - you've been busy, and still find time to blog. I'm impressed. I so wish I was in California - it seems all the cool crafty shows are there.

  35. I always want to be one of those people too. I have yet to buy any gifts, my cards aren't even started (I make them), and I haven't done anything crafty...sigh. I hope you do extremely well at your upcoming fairs.

  36. So glad I got to meet you last night!!

  37. So unfortunately I misread the date for the Mariners one. Also unfortunate, our OC vacay is not a 3 week extravaganza and we head home tonight. Boo. But I LOVE those signs... Will you be reopening your shop before Christmas?

  38. Crazy. That's what you are. Can't believe you got all those wood signs done with your very own saw! So good to hang with you! You are a sweetheart and you are even better (and not boring) in person.
