Meet Andrea.
The creative mind behind the lovely Knitty Bitties.
A shop full of all kinds of fabric scrumptiousness.

Hi everyone,

My name is Andrea and I am a full time wife to my best friend (who I met at church camp at 15, married at 20 and will celebrate TWELVE years of marriage with this year!) and a full time “Mama” (oh how I love those words) Ethan, our five year old (the best little friend a girl could spend her days with). My heart longs to add another child to our family, but I’m striving to find joy in the journey God’s given us and knowing His plan is perfect for me.

I’ve always love creating and I liked art so much I graduated with a BA in Graphic Design. I picked up sewing (again) about two years ago and have been pedaling ever since. In fact, I loved it so much and got such great responses to gifts, I decided to open my own Etsy shop. This year I needed another challenge, ‘cause really I just have way to much free time on my hands, and decided to do a booth at our local farmer’s market 10 Saturdays this summer. Sewing has been such a great creative outlet for me and gives me instant gratification, which I need. I love every part of it from picking the fabric, washing it, folding it, cutting into it and putting it all together.

Armed with an Iced Venti Un-Sweetened, Un-Diluted Black Iced Tea from Starbucks (seriously I drink Iced Tea like water … which is okay, since it is flavored water, right? ;P) and a plate of fresh baked cookies and I can take on any day!!

She had me at Miss Crafty Apron.
I could wear this while working on my quilt.
It's cuteness would distract me from its craziness.
Every family has a little Picasso.
Every family need a little peace while waiting for
food to arrive.
These Little Picture Keepers will keep your little artist
quiet, happy and entertained in style.
Who wouldn't want a beautiful purse sewn from
Heather Bailey's Freshcut which will soon be impossible to find?
Send me to Paris and give me a Vespa.
Or at least I could dream...
This little girls apron is cute enough to be an everyday dress.

It is no secret that I don't sleep.
A fun little side effect of my late hours is a bit
of lacking in the memory area.

Or a lot of lacking.

If it is not written down, it does not happen.
But the notes are everywhere.
Mostly in places that I forget.
Coffee can keep me awake, but I cannot keep me orgainzed.
I am thinking the solution to my problem is keeping it all
together in a Happy Little List Taker.
One winner will not only get their choice of
but with it comes organization and a new brain.
Not too bad, if I can say so myself.

Here is how to win:
(Remember, leave a separate comment for each entry.)
1.  Visit Knitty Bitties.
Come back here and tell me your favorite item.
2.  Visit Andrea's blog.

4.  Tweet about the Knitty Bitties awesomeness.

(I pay in coffee and gratitude.)

Off to make more coffee.
Where's my assistant?

Lots of them admire my creations, but no one does this crazy sewing stuff. I'd love to have a nearby friend I could sew or craft with. I'm thrilled to be appreciated, but would love to be challenged.
