After quite a few failed attempts,
most which looked more like a doctor's mirror,
and less like something you would want to put on a baby,
I am happy to introduce the latest line of happiness in the shop.

Meet the Pretty. Messy. Baby line of headbands.
Perfect for the little one in your life who,
regardless of how much pink she wears,
or how over the top girly her carseat is,
or how you tell the stranger her name is Janey,
is still called a boy.
(Not like that happens to me.
Every single day.)

Now she can be called a boy with
a stinking cute flower on her head.

  1. So Cute!

Now can you make something that will stop people from calling my boy (Who is wearing all blue, a baseball hat trucks on his shoes and a shirt that says "Lil' Fisherman") a cute little girl!

  2. Adorable! I agree with what fawnda said...do you have any ideas on how to make people know my little guy is a boy??

Just because he was born with a full head of hair doesn't make him a girl!

  6. So cute, Julie! And she is beautiful....she looks nothing like a boy! BTW, my youngest son was always mistaken for a girl when he was a baby. One time he even had on a "I'm the Little Brother" shirt and someone asked what "her" name was. I have to admit there were several times I wanted to take advantage of it and dress him in a frilly pink outfit! :)

  10. Those are so cute! If ever I am unsure about the gender of a baby, I just stay away from the topic altogether. The last thing I want to do is offend a proud mommy.

  14. Oh they'll still call her a boy. Mine was called a boy while wearing pink overalls with a pink floral shirt and a pink hat with a huge pink rose on it. lol

  16. Same thing...different sex child. My boy was so beautiful{and NO, I wasn't biased!!} that everyone called him a girl. No matter that he was wearing camo or elephants. Ugh, then one day in Wal-Mart my daughter was in her carseat in the buggy and the lady looked at us and said, "He look like you." I said okay thinking she was talking about my son and she was motioning to Lilly. I said that she was my daughter and she said, get this, "Well, she look like a boy." I am convinced people of the South American variety feel like they can say whatever they want. I say this, not to offend anyone, but when I was pregnant with my first one of my co-workers said I didn't look pregnant, I just looked fat. What?!?! Grrr...who does that??
Anyway, I think Janey is gorgeous like your other girls and you can do no wrong with a sewing machine and some fabric.

  17. Say it isn't so! She doesn't look like a boy to me...with or without a headband. She's just a whole bundle of cute!

  18. Love the headband...sooo cute! It doesn't seem to ever matter to some people. They always seem to refer to the poor kid the oposite of what they are...
