Cue sappy music.
This is when the mom begins to reminisce about
how fast their little one has grown
and all of the other stuff I used to roll my eyes at.
Now I get it.
Halley is about to turn five.
I am so not ready.
This little one, who I thought would be my sporty, surfing buddy,
has bit by bit became so much more than I would have ever imagined.
My foofy, girlie, princess who is afraid of the ocean,
yet loves everyone around her with such a sweet spirit and sensitive heart.

BTW... I LOVE your new flowers! That white one is adorable!!! I so want to come and craft with you while we are drinking Starbucks and talking about how much we hate black licorice :)
