I bleach my hair.
(Totally for practical reasons... grey hides much better in blonde than brown.)
I love me a good pair of fake eyelashes.
(I'm allergic to mascara... another totally practical reason.)
I secretly like the Jonas Brothers.
(But I am so glad I don't have a tween that listens to them non stop.)
I hide fabric at Joann's.
(No good excuse for this one.  I am 100% shady.)
But really, how could I not?  On Saturday I had to get some thread and I accidently, very slowly, walked down the calico wall.  Come on, I was shopping without the girls and staring at bolts of fabric is better than smoking crack right?  What do my fabric addicted eyes see?  FIVE brand new bolts of gorgeous Alexander Henry fabric.  Three of which are in patterns suitable for boys.  My stash includes 99.9% girly fabrics and less than .01% boy versions.  But, the whole wall was only $1 off a yard.  Believe you me, that doesn't do it for this girl.  Nothing but a 40% coupon can lure me to the cutting table.  So I did what any good designer fabric obsessed person would do.  I grabbed all five bolts and hid them.  Really well.  That's how I roll.
But you know what?  I am not the only one.  When I went back on Sunday when the sale was over, they were hidden someplace else.  I fetched one bolt.  Bought my fabric.  Used my coupon.  Monday, repeat sequence.  Today I went in to repeat the sequence again and guess what? Four of the five were GONE!!!!  I suppose my hiding skills need to to step it up a notch.
At least I got enough of the fabric I needed the most to make the nursing cover my friend needed.
Please don't call 1-800-Joann's on me.
But do check by here tomorrow for a really fun giveaway.
